Personal Background

I am Brazilian-born, Italian by citizenship, French by marriage, and living in America by choice (or chance). Westchester County NY has been my home since 2009. I embraced the move to Westchester with all the excitement of an eternal traveler.

In my early twenties, I dropped it all in Brazil to go find my path in London. In two years, I had the opportunity to travel all over Europe, had mastered English and Spanish, and found my professional passion in Marketing. A return to Brazil, then back to the UK, then 8 years in France, met my husband, two little girls later, I arrived in Westchester with my family.

For the first time, when moving to another country, I did not have to master the language, but I found out that living in the US is different from all the other countries I had ever lived in. It seems obvious now, but it was not so obvious when we arrived. Even if you move here as an ex-pat, (like in my case) there are plenty of things to learn before you decide where to live and where your children are going to go to school. And the thing is, you don't even know what questions to ask because you are not aware of the differences. Having lived in Brazil, England, Spain, and France I can say I know the culture, and I'm able to help other families enjoy a better start their lives here.
