Gregory Jackson

Biography

I have been a Boston resident since 1974. I enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of the city's neighborhoods with people coming from other places. I have lived in the South End for 35 years and have experienced the neighborhood from the perspective of a tenant, a homeowner, a landlord and a developer. I have seen and participated in the tremendous changes in the South End over the last four decades. The South End has always been a great neighborhood, and it will continue to be.

I have been selling real estate in Boston's neighborhoods since 1985. Much of my current business is from referrals and repeat customers. Over the years, I have had more than a dozen transactions from many individual clients.

For all referrals, I donate 15% of my commission to the charity of choice of the person who makes the referral. My last donation of $1,700 went to "Alliance for Animals", a South Boston charity which provides veterinary care for animals whose families could not otherwise afford this care.

In my spare time, I am an intrepid traveler (India, Turkey, Syria, North America, Hong Kong, Iceland, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba and many other places) and a voracious reader (fiction, biography, history, architecture).
