More about Nazifa Mohamed
Nazifa was born in Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America. After graduating high school, Nazifa decided to continue her education at University of Guyana in Georgetown, Guyana where she earned her BA in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. After graduating she worked in the Human Resources field with an import/export company in Guyana for 2 years. In 2000 Nazifa met and married her husband and migrated to the United States. There, she and her husband raised their 2 children, now 19 and 21 years old. Nazifa became a Public School teacher so that she could be at home when her kids are and enjoyed being a mother and teaching 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders for about 12 years.
At the height of the housing market crisis Nazifa was tuned into everything that was happening. Being a Public School teacher she learned from her students’ families that the lack of education and knowledge in Real Estate caused many individuals to become homeless or displaced. In 2020, while teaching from home, Nazifa studied and obtained her REALTOR license. In July 2023, Nazifa decided to join Coldwell Banker Southwest Office to expand her business. Nazifa wants everyone who dreams of becoming a homeowner to have that dream fulfilled no matter their financial status. Thus far she has helped numerous families attain this goal and would love to help you!
