Scott Cooney has over 25 years experience in real estate brokerage in both commercial and residential real estate. Scott joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as Vice President Managing Broker in 2014 after selling his company to CBRB. He, along with the 26 agents from his former company joined the Danbury CBRB office.

Scott manages the 90+ agents in the residential office on Mill Plain Road and as of November 1st 2017 is also managing the first 100% pure play commercial real estate office in the CBC NRT network after acquiring Goodfellow Commercial Real Estate.

Since joining CBRB the Danbury CT office has become the market leader in Greater Danbury and a top Coldwell Banker office Internationally.

Scott is the First Vice President of our State Realtor Association, CTR. He has been an active member of both the Local and State Association of Realtors for over 2 decades and has served as president of NFCAR in 2011 and as Regional VP for CTR for 4 years prior to becoming First Vice President in 2018.

He is also involved in several charities and community organizations. Veterans are near and dear to his heart having a son who is a Marine Combat Veteran who served combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
