About me

Since 1985, Philip Haustein has been a licensed real estate agent and broker. Having been through multiple cycles of the real estate market in the past 30 years he understands the ins and outs of the market. Philip enjoys working with both buyers and sellers including with REO’s, relocation and corporate clients as well as new builder construction. He understands that buying or selling real estate is a process and he is here to help you through every step.
Philip was raised an ARMY brat living throughout the US and overseas so he truly understands moving! He has been living in Austin since 1975 and was a graduate from Anderson High School, Class of 1977. He also attended the University of Texas studying real estate and finance.
Philip is a widower with 2 daughters both in college - Haley (23) is here in Austin attending Texas State in San Marcos studying business and Hannah (21) is in Virginia attending Northfolk State University studying accounting on a softball scholarship. He is a proud father.
Philip enjoys all that Austin has to offer- the outdoors, the parks, activities (ACL Festival, SXSW, COTA, Blues on the Green, Unplugged at the Grove), parks & lakes, restaurants. He proudly bleeds orange and love his Longhorns football, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. He also has a passion for photography and freelances as often as possible for local papers covering sports and events. With his media credentials, Philip was able to shoot the 2015 MEAC Softball Championships in Ormond Beach, Florida and Northfolk State University played. Philip also channels his passion for photography to show case his real estate listings including photos and tours. He also regularly volunteers his services for charities and non-profits around town.
