Primary focus is on Commercial Real Estate activities, including office, retail and industrial, as well as vacant land suitable for commercial purposes.

Career Background

My most recent full-time position was as Director, Real Estate for Consolidated Rail Corporation, a position I held for thirteen years prior to my retirement in July, 2009. As Director, Real Estate for Conrail, I was responsible for overall management of the real estate assets of Conrail, consisting of sales, leasing and licensing activities. During my tenure, Conrail completed over 600 sale transactions generating more than $100 million dollars (as well as other ancillary benefits) and managed a rent roll of leases and licenses producing revenues of several million dollars annually. Between 1997 and 1999, I managed Conrail's intensive activities related to the division and transfer of Conrail's $4 billion in real property interests as a result of the merger and breakup of Conrail due to its acquisition by Norfolk Southern Railway and CSX Transportation Inc. Following the merger and through July, 2009, I personally handled over 50 sale and lease transactions aggregating approximately $20 million dollars, as well as several other specific high profile/high revenue transactions producing over $100 million dollars.

My railroad real estate career began with the Pennsylvania Railroad in January, 1965, was interrupted for three years service in the US Navy until late 1968, then continued with the Penn Central Transportation Company until September, 1972, at which time I decided to pursue my college degree full time. I returned to Consolidated Rail Corporation in June, 1976, where I worked continuously for the next thirty three years, while progressing through a series of positions with increasing geographic coverage, duties and personnel management responsibilities, at a number of different office locations in the Northeast, and eventually encompassing the entirety of Conrail's system upon my appointment as Director, Real Estate in 1996.

Current Area of Responsibility is designated as: Madison, Chatham Township and the Borough of Chatham. Willing to assist in surrounding communities of Morristown, Morris Plains, Morris Township, and Florham Park in Morris County, as well as Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights in Union County.
