I love houses and every discipline associated with them. My very first job was sketching houses on the backs of appraisal cards for one of the very first reassessments in the United States. As a teenager my high school buddy and I would walk through newly framed homes in our neighborhood and imagine what each house's layout would be. My love for houses never went away though I spent over 30 years in the corporate arena. I also love design and growing things so it became evident a few years ago when I decided to reinvent myself that based on past appraisal work, interior design and making things grow I would embark on renovating and rejuvenating run down houses making them attractive once again. Some call this practice flipping; but for me it's not about cutting corners with substandard work or materials. It's more about bringing tired, outdated houses back to life. It only made sense to go to school to get my real estate license as an added skill and resource to my appraising and design experience. My husband and I launched Post Design Renovations LLC in 2015. After earning my North Carolina Real Estate license, I had the great privilege of joining Coldwell Banker Realty's Lake Norman office. I am always available to work with clients looking to sell or purchase a home in the Greater Charlotte area. Nothing rivals the satisfaction I experience from completing one of my remodeled homes, helping a client find their perfect home or helping a client sell their existing home so they can move forward in their life.
