A little bit about me:

My husband and I bought our first home in a 100 plus year old building on a busy street in a small costal town slightly north of Boston back in the late 1990's. We fixed it up ourselves by painting the kitchen cabinets (me) adding a tile backspash (him) and painting all the rooms (both of us). We sold it 2 years later to move back to Charlotte and made an unexpected, but welcome large profit. I was hooked!

I figured the easiest way to keep up with the real estate trends was to live and breathe it so, after being selected to form a builders' "dream sales team", I began my real estate career with a prominent national homebuilder. I've spent decades in real estate and nearly 20 years as a licensed agent in Charlotte. In that time, I've learned everything I could about the local market and trends, mortgages, land acquisition/development and the construction/engineering of homes. I've assisted hundreds of families seamlessly close on their dream home (I'm proud of my consistently high customer-satisfaction surveys--they won me several awards!). Being able to recognize and accept the fact the process may be a little "bumpy" at times takes an experienced agent. Troubleshooting real estate curveballs is my specialty!

Having good "partner"relationships is critical in real estate. You'll want someone who can give you a face to face introduction with a mortgage broker or get a top-notch electrician/plumber/painter/tile-person out to give you a fair quote in a reasonable amount of time. I have a solid list of trust-worthy trades I work closely with. I also have experience in short sales if you find yourself in one of the neighborhoods that never recovered from the recession....I've got you covered.

Oh, and back to me being hooked. For many years my husband would come home to a for-sale sign in our front yard. After obsessively buying and selling "hidden-gems" all over Charlotte, I am currently renovating my "dream home", a mid-century ranch in South Charlotte. I live with my husband, my elementary age daughter and our dog, Roxanne. When I'm not working, I'm looking for houses or renovation ideas.
