I embarked on my professional odyssey in 1981 by joining the Army, serving honorably for three years in an enlisted capacity before ascending to the role of an officer. In 1990, I was commissioned as a chaplain, embracing a vocation that combined spiritual leadership with unwavering support for those in my charge, until I concluded my military service in 1995. This foundational experience instilled in me a profound sense of duty, leadership, and the importance of community.

Transitioning from military to civilian life, I pursued and attained a rich tapestry of academic and professional credentials, including becoming Epic Clinical Informatics and Epic Tier 4 Reporting Certified, alongside earning a Master of Divinity. My career trajectory then steered me towards positions where I could make impactful contributions to healthcare information services and technology. Holding pivotal roles such as an Application Systems Specialist, Clinical Informatics Specialist Coordinator, and Clinical Application Specialist, I honed my skills in solution design, process improvement, and operational support, all while fostering meaningful business relationships.

Parallel to my professional journey, my heart has been deeply rooted in pastoral care. From serving as a hospice chaplain to leading parish ministries, I’ve had the privilege of guiding individuals and communities through life’s most significant moments. These experiences have enriched my perspective and amplified my passion for service.
