Katie has lived in Delaware since September 2001, Originally a Washington, D.C. native, she began vacationing on the Delmarva Peninsula with her parents as a small child and continued as an adult with her own children. Prior to selling real estate in Delaware, she worked as an Office Manager of an Environmental and Turf Management company in Wheaton, Maryland. She also worked Part Time as an assistant to a Remax agent in the Crofton and Bowie Maryland suburbs. She eventually took a job with an Accountant as Bookkeeper. This business entailed the coordination of corporate bookkeeping, payroll, and quarterly and yearly taxes for many small businesses in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. regions. Katie was always very active in her local community when her children were small, coaching and serving on the Boys & Girls Club board wearing several different hats. Once she moved to Delaware and got her Real Estate license, she became familiar with the beaches and beyond to help better serve her clients’ needs. Whether they were buying their first house or their last Katie made sure to find the perfect spot to meet her clients’ needs at the time. Since getting her license in late 2002, she worked in many aspects of the business including but not limited to New Construction Sales, Resales, Relocation, Rentals, Commercials Sales and leasing as well as with Investors.

Katie has also maintained her sense of community since moving to Delaware, serving as a parent volunteer with organizations such as Shore Thunder Cheerleading and Georgetown Little League when her children were younger. While at Jack Lingo, REALTOR, Katie has held the honor ‘Brokerage’s Most Transactions Award’, for two years and her motto is ‘if you are not happy, we are not happy.’

In June of 2019 she moved her license to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Ocean City and has expanded her Real Estate Market to included the Maryland seashore and surrounding areas such as Berlin, Bishopville, Willards, Pittsville and more. This gives her the opportunity to help past, current and future clients not only in the Delaware areas but also in surround Maryland areas of the beach and beyond.
