More about Nathan Ingham
I believe...
It an honor to be a part of such a big milestone in my clients' lives, and I must always work hard to live up to the trust they place in me.
No real estate agent should ever pressure his or her clients in any way.
My job is to give my clients everything they need to make informed decisions, and to offer my advice, but never to tell them what they "should" do.
There is nothing more important than making my clients feel comfortable with me, with their decisions, and with their purchase.
If I always put my clients first I will have a fulfilling, satisfying, and successful career.

How can I help?
To describe what I believe my role in the home-buying process is, the first thing I always want to say what I know my role is not. I am not a salesperson. In the age of Zillow and Trulia, I know that my clients don't simply need a real estate agent to tell them when properties come on the market, and they definitely don't need someone to tell them what they like (or should like).
Instead, my role begins as a teacher, walking my clients through each step of the home-buying process from start to finish at our very first meeting with the goal of making them as comfortable as possible with what lies ahead. As we view properties together, I am a resource and an advisor, helping my clients ask the right questions and gather the information they need to make decisions they are confident in and comfortable with.
In the Boston-area market, where properties regularly go quickly and with multiple offers, I consider perhaps my most important role as a strategist. When my clients decide they love a property, they can turn to me as an experienced expert in securing the home theyrsquo;ve fallen in love with. (Sometimes stepping into the role of a therapist if things don't work out as we hope!) Once the property under agreement, I consider myself a project manager and counselor, helping guide my clients through the rest of the process as smoothly as possible.
I consider myself most successful if, after the closing, my clients feel that they can call me a friend.
