Julie Carani is a Broker with Coldwell Banker Realty in the Greater Chicago area. She works with residential home buyers, sellers and investors.

Born and raised in Highwood, IL, Julie is an Economics graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago. As the daughter of an immigrant "finish" carpenter, her love of real estate was inspired early on by seeing her father work his craft, and by watching This Old House, a popular home renovation show that began in 1979.

Julie Carani helped put herself through college by working at JB Robinson Jewelers as one of the store's top sales people in her district. Upon graduation she began her 14 year successful career in commercial print sales. She moved to the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff area in 2001 to raise her children and volunteered in numerous school and fundraising programs.

Julie's love of real estate continued into her adult life. Over the years she has renovated, rebuilt and design consulted on many properties that she bought and sold. A steadfast passion for the housing industry and enjoyment in helping people prompted her to begin her career as a real estate broker. She has been told many times she an "eye" for space, design and attention to detail. Her past work experience and industry knowledge enables her to work in a field she loves while educating home-buyers and sellers, marketing homes, and sharing valuable information as a lifelong Chicagoland resident.

In her free time, Julie Carani loves playing tennis, watching a great movie and spending time with friends and family.
