Dan Merrion is a 4th-generation realtor. When most kids were taken around to different playgrounds, Dan grew up with his playground being real estate office openings and real estate business meetings with his father. As time went on Dan realized this is where his passion was as well. After finishing Hawaii Pacific University with a bachelor in International Business, Dan began his career with Coldwell Banker where he established Coldwell Banker's #1 team in Chicago's Lincoln Park Office.

In 2005 he partnered with his brother, Brian, to create City Point Realty. They expanded the company to the west coast and grew to over 700 million in sales.

He continues to rank in the top 10 of Chicago Agents, and is a member of Certified International Property Specialists. Dan also chaired the Realtors Political Action Committee and was the Vice Chair of Government Affairs for the Chicago Association of Realtors.

In 2017 Dan and Brian had the opportunity to do what their Dad had done in 1980, sell their company to Coldwell Banker and NRT- the nations leading brokerage. Since then Dan's role has developed to lead Chicagoland in sales and bring very passionate realtors into the Coldwell Banker family.

Outside of work, Dan loves to spend time with his wife and 3 kids. If they are not spending time together Dan can typically be found playing Goalie a couple times a week at Johnny's Ice House in Chicago.
