She works with the Relocation Department of Coldwell Banker specializing in Veterans/Active Duty Military and Frist time Home-Buyers as well as transferees.

Cindy Schimmel has served on the Board of Directors for Kankakee-Iroquois-Ford Association of Realtors for many years. Cindy has served as President of the Kankakee-Iroquois-Ford Association of Realtors. Cindy has served on many committees for the association including Professional Standards, Grievance, Multiple Listing Service, Program and Entertainment, Public Relations, RPAC/Government Affairs, and Home Buyers Fair.

Cindy Schimmel was named Realtor of the Year for 2017-18 for Kankakee, Iroquois, Ford Association of Realtors and honored

by Illinois Association of Realtors in Springfield.

Cindy Schimmel is a Team Leader for the Music Ministry of her church.

Cindy is married to John Schimmel and they have 3 children and 11 Grand children.

Cindy Schimmel began working at Coldwell Banker with her Father, Milton DeYoung in 1995 and worked with him for about 8 years. He was a retired farmer and was in Real Estate approximately 20 years after retiring.

Cindy was a stay at home Mom. She worked part time in her home teaching piano to many students.
