Aiko was born and raised in Japan, and after graduating from the University of Sacred Heart in Tokyo, started her career in sales at the Takanawa Prince Hotel.  Advancing her sales and customer service skills and assisting foreign executives sparked Aiko’s interest in foreign cultures, which led her to move to San Diego.  At the Coleman College in San Diego, Aiko earned a master’s degree in Computer Science. 

Aiko worked for the Toyota Group as a supply chain manager and often traveled to Detroit for business.  In 2008 the economic crisis severely affected the housing market and homes in Detroit were selling for $1. Aiko observed the effects of the economy on the real estate market and gained a strong interest in real estate.  She obtained her real estate license in California in 2015.   

As a military spouse Aiko and her husband moved to Spain where she volunteered as a financial counselor for the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS).  She assisted service members with emergency financial needs with 0% interest loans and became very knowledgeable about military VA benefits.   

In 2020 when Aiko and her husband relocated to Honolulu, she obtained her Hawaii real estate license and focused on vacation rental property management.  Her past experience in customer service and sales, attention to detail as a supply manager, complexities of military allowances and benefits, and managing vacation rental properties prepared her well for her current career as a Hawaii real estate sales professional.  Aiko takes pride in listening to her clients to understand their needs and providing them with options for their real estate journey.   

In her spare time, Aiko spends time at the beach and hiking with her black lab, Colt.  She loves traveling the world and discovering local food.
