I was very fortunate to have grown up in Okaloosa County, along the beautiful Emerald Coast where I earned degrees from Northwest Florida State College, the University of West Florida (UWF), and Troy State University-Fort Walton Beach.

Following my graduation from UWF, I served in the United States Air Force as an Instructor Pilot, a Flight Commander, a Standards & Evaluations Office, a Quality Officer, and a Scheduler. 

After leaving the Air Force, I continued to fly, piloting corporate aircraft for various companies, meeting people from all parts of the world.
