More about Kelly McAllen

Coming from a family of commercial real estate developers throughout the Midwest, I developed a second sense for the attributes that make a project successful. There are obvious differences between commercial and residential real estate but many of the key elements are the same. Though I knew early on that real estate is where I would end up, I also knew that a critical component of real estate was marketing so my early career was spent as a marketing specialist working on international accounts such as Pepsi, Kraft Foods and Nabisco developing and launching promotional campaigns.

My approach to real estate is the same whether I’m dealing with buyers or sellers. Responsiveness, thoroughness and perseverance are the qualities which I think will always yield the greatest chances for a successful transaction. Whether it’s spending time in local municipal offices or learning the inventory in every town I service, the more information I have and the timelier my response to an inquiry, the more likely chance I have of successfully fulfilling the obligations to my client.

The real estate business has been changed forever by technology and our clients have more tools than ever – and so does the agent! Working with the right team of people who share my perspective and business philosophy - whether for mortgage needs, legal advice, title policies etc. – insure as smooth a transaction as possible. Working with Coldwell Banker has given me the resources of the world’s leading real estate brand name and when coupled with my education and business background are a winning combination.

I graduated the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in International Relations and then lived in France for a few years and studied at the Alliance Française. When I moved back to the U.S. I came to Fairfield County and live now in Norwalk with my husband and enjoy so much of what makes our area great from hiking on the new Norwalk River Valley Trail to antiquing in Litchfield or gardening in my own backyard.
