• I was introduced to Phyllis 6 years ago by a high school friend who purchased a condo with her on the West Side. Phyllis specializes in Santa Monica, Culver City, Venice, West LA, Brentwood areas; she really understands the neighborhood and can guide buyers through her 20 years of experiences. What I love most about working with Phyllis is that she does MORE homework / research than a buyer could ask for (and can imagine). I joke about her being a Harvard graduate prepares her to be a "top" performer. Phyllis is unlike any agents I've ever come across, and I've worked with several prior to being introduced to her. Many agents can come off a bit "salesy" as they want to "get a deal done". Opposite to that, Phyllis would be the first person to tell you not to buy a property or waste your time if she doesn't think you'd do well with it in the long-term. She really tries to understand your needs and manages your expectations accordingly. She typically previews homes for you so you don't waste time, and if she screens a few properties that have potential, she then takes me to view them. It took us 1.5 years to find my dream home, and despite the slowness of our search (and it was due to no inventory in area I wanted to be in), Phyllis was patient, thoughtful and didn't push me to move faster. On top of that, by the time we were closing, our seller was based in Japan, and the other side was not local, and Phyllis basically took care of EVERYTHING and always stayed on top of things to make sure escrow was smooth and on-time.
