Personal Background
I have been a Los Altoan since 1955. I am a member of the first 4-year graduating class from Los Altos High School in 1959. I have been happily married since 1972 and my wife, Margot, has been a permanent fixture downtown at such places as Peets Coffee, Jazzercise, Le Boulanger, Tiedown, etc. I have 3 daughters and 2 grand-children. I am an avid sports fans, especially of Stanford sports and a member of the Stanford Golf Course. I also enjoy grand-parenting, hiking, investing, and travelling.

Professional Experience
I sold real estate in Colorado in 1971 & 1972. I relocated back to this area late 1972 to attend graduate school at Stanford University. I obtained my California Real Estate Broker's license in 1975. Between 1973 and 1997, while very active personally in the local real estate market, I pursued a career at Intel Corporation in Sales & Marketing management. I took early retirement from Intel in 1997 to pursue a full-time real estate career, marrying my avocation to my vocation.
