Personal Background
Mary Jane McCarthy (M.J.) has extensive college and professional experience. She holds an Associate of Science Degree from Long Beach City College and attended Long Beach State University.
She learned to work directly with the public as a Radiologic Technologist for Kaiser Permanente and later as a Corporate, Flight Attendant for Avjet Corporation where clientele ranged from the top Fortune 500 to movie industry giants. Her acute ability to sense clients' diverse and often demanding needs made her most the requested member of staff.
In 1980 she began her extensive Real Estate career. As part owner of Interoceanic Real Estate Development, she assisted in the purchasing and development of both commercial and residential properties throughout the Tri-Counties of Southern California. She also gained great understanding of mapping, building codes, city and county processing, land development and the entitlement process.
As a Licensed Independent Real Estate Professional she is a member of the Laguna Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and nearing completion of her GRI Designation.
M.J. has been a resident of Orange County for thirty years. Her hands on knowledge of the fastest growing communities, values and trends serves in helping clients make wise decisions. Through her unique background and diligent research skills she is able to distinguish prime properties and offer them on an unsolicited basis, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
Presently with Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, M.J. specializes in South County's, coastal communities. She takes pride in her ability to negotiate and communicate successfully and is known for her determination in obtaining clients goals and needs. Her personality and enthusiasm make for a pleasant transaction from opening to closing.
