Additionally, I have a BA in Communications with a Minor in Business Administration from Chico State University.

I believe in giving back to my community, so in my spare time you'll find me volunteering with non-profit organizations. I'm a volunteer broadcaster on community radio KVMR 89.5 FM Nevada City (www.kvmr.org), and have served as a CA Sta te Parks volunteer River Ambassador for the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL). Additionally, I lend a hand at The Grass Valley Center For The Arts, For Pet's Sake and The Lake Vera Neighborhood Association.

Since I live in such a beautiful area, rich with lakes, rivers and trails, you may also find me hiking with my husband Art, and enjoying our rural home with our furry family. I'm happy to share my knowledge of our local trails with you.
