About Karl

Karl has been working in real estate for almost a decade now.  Prior to working in residential sales, Karl spent three and a half years working for a private student housing investment company.  He specialized in acquisition and was always on the hunt for value added investments to assist in the company’s growing portfolio.  During Karl’s tenure, his company’s growth skyrocketed and they added 102 units.  Karl was heavily involved in the construction and management, as well as the acquisition.  Along with an uncanny ability to find and create value he is well versed and knowledgeable in the construction and management aspect of multifamily housing.

At Philly’s Homes, his efforts are focused on buyers, particularly investors.  He prides himself on his negotiation skills and in depth knowledge of the Philadelphia area.  He works tirelessly to identify the right property, whether it is for a primary residence or investment purposes.  Karl works as a buyer and sellers agent and investment specialist at Coldwell Banker Preferred and has found great success for himself and those he represents.

A Philadelphia area native, Karl graduated from Temple University with degrees in Political Science and History.  He is an avid athlete – in addition to being a four year starter for Temple’s Division 1 Rugby team, he golfs, surfs and plays ice-hockey.  His wife, Lauren, shares his love of sport and entrepreneurial spirit.  She is currently a tennis pro & fitness specialist at the Germantown Cricket Club.  They have lived in a number of neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia over the past 10 years including the Art Museum, Rittenhouse Square & East Falls.  Karl, Lauren and their son now call Roxborough home.
